Cancer Support Group

A cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to face it alone.

Our group is open to all individuals affected by cancer—patients, survivors, caregivers, family members, and friends. No matter where you are on the journey, you belong. No registration is required, just show up.

Childbirth: The Journey Begins

This is a free childbirth class for new parents. Classes are taught by Duncan Regional Birth Center Nurses. Dress comfortably. Bring a support person to class with you. You may also bring snacks and drinks to class with you.

Topics include: Roles of the Coach, Nutrition & Exercise, Stages of Labor, Breathing & Relaxation, Pain Control, Newborn Care, Timing Contractions, Postpartum Care, Breast Feeding.

People with Diabetes Support Group

Our diabetes support group is for anyone with diabetes or a caregiver who wants to understand the special needs of diabetics.

Time: Meets on the second Thursday every month

Breastfeeding information and support for all new mothers. This class is FREE but pre-registration is required.

Loud Crowd

“SPEAK OUT! & The LOUD Crowd is a clinically-proven therapy approach for individuals with Parkinson’s. The program helps patients REGAIN and MAINTAIN their speaking abilities with a combination of education, individual speech therapy, daily home practice, group sessions, and regular re-assessments.”

Time: Meets weekly on Tuesday at 4:00 pm

Newly Bereaved Grief Support Group

Are you grieving the loss of a partner, family member, or friend?  This program is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and confidential setting facilitated by hospice bereavement volunteer, Susan Gassaway, RN.

Time: Meets on the first Tuesday every month
